
SCHOOL OF CAPOEIRA GINGA CARIOCA
The School
of CAPOEIRA GINGA CARIOCA aims to the teaching, study, research, preservation
and dissemination of the arts, traditions and Afro-Brazilian folklore, and
especially of Capoeira in its various aspects of sport, combat, martial art,
acrobatics, dance, body expression, improvisation, rhythm, game, folklore,
art, poetry, music, singing, non-verbal communication, philosophy, ritual.
The School of CAPOEIRA GINGA CARIOCA was founded on the the 20th of November
2004 by Mestre Paulinho Carioca, recognized Mestre from the Federação
de Capoeira Desportiva do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and from the Federação
de Capoeira do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
Mestre Paulinho Carioca teaches Capoeira in Rome (Italy) from 1992.
The Escola de CAPOEIRA GINGA CARIOCA is today based in Italy in the
following cities: Rome, Anguillara Sabazia, Bracciano, Lucca, Viareggio.
